RECITAL ON THE RIDGEWAY – THE REGENCY STRING QUARTET

We are very pleased to welcome this superb group back to the festival for what will surely be another enchanting evening of chamber music. The programme will include favourites by Haydn and Schubert. The group was formed in 2021 and brings together four very talented students from the Royal Academy of Music. Our quartet consists of Mabelle Young-Eun Park and Olwen Miles – violin, Jamie Howe – viola and Ellen Baumring-Gledhill – cello. Mabelle has been a recipient of the Harbour Foundation Award, Olwen won the 2020 Arthur Felstein Leavers Award from the Purcell School, Jamie was principal viola of the National Youth Orchestra of Great Britain and Ellen was the only cellist to reach the strings category final of BBC Young Musician 2020.
